Even with the conditions not being too good for Chelsea right  now and Mount seem to be leaving the club, Pochettino will do everything he can to make sure he stays as he admires the player so much.

Mauricio Pochettino is a huge admirer of Mason Mount and – in an ideal world – would prefer him to sign a new contract. However, as it stands, there is significant doubt over whether Chelsea can successfully revive talks.

United want to pay in the region of £55m for Mount, Chelsea value Mount at £85m. United may be prepared to increase their initial valuation of Mount given Ten Hag’s determination to add the attacker to his ranks next season.
