Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling could be one of the big omissions from the England squad.

Coach Gareth Southgate is set to name his group for Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.

While there are always tough decisions to make for the Three Lions head coach, Southgate has rarely wavered from his support of Sterling.

Per The Mirror, Sterling is likely to miss out due to his poor form at club level this term.

Manchester City’s England players – including Kyle Walker, John Stones, Jack Grealish and Kalvin Phillips – will join up with the squad a little later than everyone else.

With Ivan Toney banned, either Callum Wilson or Ollie Watkins will come into the squad.
