It looks like Chelsea is now looking everywhere and anywhere to make sure they get a good replacement and step back to the top of the table where they belong.

Chelsea have made contact with Amorim’s minders this week as they seek a long-term manager after the sacking of Graham Potter.

Before the appointment of Potter, Amorim was also linked with Chelsea after the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel.

At the time, Amorim told O Jogo: “The project I am in is the project I want. I have another year and a half of contract.

“Chelsea have presented a coach for the next five years. I am happy here and I am not thinking about another project.”
