Paul Merson; I expect Potter to repeat this same mistake and cost Chelsea points vs Leicester.
Paul Merson thinks Potter will make this same mistake and make him a very costly Chelsea mistake by the weekend with Leicester City.
Fortunately for Chelsea, they will have a week between their trip to King Power Stadium and the following match against Everton, so keeping the players should not be an issue.
That said, Potter has a huge squad at his disposal — way too big to keep everyone happy, so he could decide to make a few changes for this reason.

The manager also recently said that he would rather not expose those who recently returned from long-term absences to injury risks, and this includes Reece James.
It makes sense to be cautious with players’ workload with the Champions League being their only realistic target, but Merson insisted that this could also cost Chelsea points.
“Chelsea are starting to look like an interesting unit now,” he wrote in his column for Sportskeeda.
“Two back-to-back wins and two clean sheets and all of a sudden, you start to see their potential.
“I would want Graham Potter to stay with the same team that beat Borussia Dortmund comfortably on Tuesday night.
“I hope he doesn’t go and alter the team and make a number of changes.
“For me, Potter has to pick his strongest team and get a roll going.
“You need stability and you need continuity and Chelsea have suffered from making too many changes in recent times.
“His team selection was spot on against Dortmund and they reaped the rewards for it.
“I’ve got the feeling that the Blues are going to make five or six changes for this one.
“If they do that, I don’t see how they’re going to win it.”
Merson predicts Chelsea’s clash with Leicester City to end with a 1-1 score.
