Mauricio Pochettino has identified the fitness of Chelsea’s players as a real weakness during the opening weeks of pre-season.

That is according to a report from The Athletic.

Mauricio Pochettino’s teams are renowned for being very energetic and strong runners, so it’s no surprise to hear he’s already whipping the Blues squad into shape.

The Athletic explains that Pochettino identified the fitness of the Chelsea squad as an area that really damaged them last season.
