Marc Cucurella agent opens up on Atletico Madrid offering the Spainard a new contract; What he said

Marc Cucurella has hit out at reports claiming the Spaniard has been offered to Atletico Madrid.

After establishing himself as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League during his time with Brighton – Chelsea made the move to bring him to Stamford Bridge in a deal that was worth £50 million.

There was alot of hype surrounding the player and his ability – but he has failed to leave a mark on that Chelsea side and According to Spanish newspaper Marca, that has prompted Chelsea to try and cut their losses on the defender and it is claimed that he was offered to Atletico Madrid.

But Cucurella’s agent, Alvaro Dominguez, has quickly shut down the speculation and branded the report ‘fake news’ in a post on Instagram.

Linking to the article in question, Dominguez tagged Marca and also wrote ‘try again’ alongside a ‘crying laughing’ emoji, suggesting in no uncertain terms that there is little truth in the speculation.
