Good News; Images show Mason Mount training in the open gras and this opens up for a return.

Mason Mount have started training again and this opens up the door for a potential Chelsea return by the Summer if the contract situation is solved.

The midfielder has barely played since January, with this latest surgery apparently ruling him out for the season following a persistent problem that he couldn’t shake. But the sight of him on grass seems to open the door to a chance he gets perhaps one final run out.

The club certainly won’t take any risks at all if he’s still got any issues, so we will have to wait for an update from Frank Lampard.

Mount is a force we have all missed in the midfield at Chelsea and we will love to have him come back and do what he does best.
