Emmanuel Petit probably is not looking at the side the Chelsea management is looking when it concerns hiring a new manager as he has someone new in mind and he is urging Chelsea to bring him in.

Ancelotti recently ruled out the possibility of returning to the Premier League.

But despite Ancelotti’s comments, Petit said he would still love to see the Italian return to the west London club.

“There are so many managers linked with Chelsea. Every day you open the newspapers, then you hear it on the radio and the television that there are five or six different managers in the frame,” Petit told DAZN.

“I would love to see Carlo Ancelotti apply for the Chelsea job, but he said last week that he won’t come back to England, he won’t come back to Chelsea. Maybe he is a bit tired. He has won everything. Maybe he is very close to retirement, I have no idea.”
