Dortmund furious, says loosing to Chelsea is a fraud; “We lost because of the referee” Here is why they think so.
Dortmund players have opened up on how they feel about Chelsea beating them in Stamford Bridge and they are not happy about it in any way. The Penalty is not a penalty and its a fraud.
After the game, midfielder Emre Can moaned to RMC Sport about the decisions that led to Kai Havertz – eventually – putting the Blues ahead for the first time in the tie.
“We didn’t deserve to lose, but we lost because of the referee.”
Can also accused the referee of arrogance, which is what players always say when a ref doesn’t lose control of a game under great pressure.
Borussia Dortmund's Emre Can:
"We didn't deserve to lose, but we lost because of the referee. Giving back the penalty to be removed like that, how is it possible? I don't understand. The referee said been very bad today. The way he spoke to us was arrogant."

You can understand his pain, even as a Chelsea fan. Every decision was technically correct, but not really in the spirit of football. It was a handball in the rules, but that shouldn’t be a handball. Equally it was a retake, but it was dreadful bad luck.
It’s a shame to win like that for Chelsea, but in the circumstances, they earned their luck. They missed chances in the first half – and the first leg – which could have seen them out of sight in the tie.
