Conor Gallagher is just an unlucky player; Graham Potter says he feels sorry for the Englishman
Graham Potter have said that one of the most unlucky players in Chelsea is Conor Gallagher as he has not been finding favor both in the team and in the eyes of the fans too and this is taking a toll on him.
After he came on against Everton, Chelsea conceded one more goal to bring Everton level with the blues and now many fans have attributed him as a wrong substitution and this is one of the prime reasons why Potter thinks he is not all that lucky.
“If he doesn’t start then there’s the chance he can be the first change,” Potter said at his post-match press conference.
“We used Kova and Enzo in midfield, that’s a tactical decision, and the front three at Kai, Joao and Pulisic, they are more dribblers.
“Conor has been unlucky because whenever he comes on, he’s done really well.
“He will be frustrated and rightly so but we think the world of him. He is a fantastic team player.”
