Chelsea issue an official statement against the Homophobic chants of Chelsea fans; Here is what they said

This loss yet again goes to show that Graham Potter might not be the problem Chelsea has after all as they have failed to win any match again even after signing a new interim manager.

As the match drew to an end, Chelsea fans started Chanting songs for Frank Lampard saying that he will be sacked this morning.

The chants were directed at Lampard as he have failed to win another match and worse still he has Kante on the bench althrough the match and he is not happy with it by any means.

“This follows the decision of the Crown Prosecution Service to class this hugely offensive chant as a hate crime.”

Chelsea added: “The ‘Rent Boy’ chant is intolerable and has no place in football or anywhere else. That opposition clubs can now face disciplinary action if their supporters engage in this discriminatory and offensive behaviour is a step in the right direction.

“Everyone who chooses to participate in this chant must know their actions have consequences.”
