Chelsea are exploring three more new players this month; Here is the complete list.
Chelsea might be looking to actually change all their squad as stated earlier by Todd Boehly when he said that he will not sack Potter but instead he will change all Chelsea players and bring in new ones.
Speaking about these recent targets, a Chelsea chief Ben Jacobs said;
Jacobs says: “Mudryk’s arrival isn’t the end of Chelsea’s business. They are still exploring Moises Caicedo, Marcus Thuram and Noni Madueke. Thuram is the ‘budget’ option from the three but hotly in demand. Chelsea have to convince him to join now as opposed to picking his next club over the summer.
“The one to watch in midfield is Brighton’s Moises Caicedo. Graham Potter would love to bring him to Stamford Bridge. Brighton CEO Paul Barber told me he’s yet to receive an offer, but there is a real feeling within the industry that Chelsea will move.
“Caicedo will command a fee of at least £70m, and even that’s right at the low end in terms of estimating. Chelsea are prepared to pay £65m but fear Brighton want more like £75-80m.
“Brighton will use the Marc Cucurella deal (£62m) and no doubt Mudryk’s fee to their advantage should negotiations proceed. But even if Caicedo doesn’t arrive in January, I fully expect Chelsea to try again in the summer.”
