Chalobah makes a very strong stance and a promise to Cheklsea fans against Man UTD this night; Here’s what he said.

Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah says the fans deserve “a performance” at Manchester United tonight.

Chalobah recognises Chelsea haven’t been good enough this season.

“We need to put in a performance, first and foremost,” said Chalobah to chelseafc.com.

“We know that the results haven’t been there for us and as a team, we take responsibility. It’s important we put in a strong showing at Old Trafford, focus on getting the basics right and then hopefully the result will follow.

“I think we need to get that performance right, to help us have that feeling of being confident in our play. We know that Manchester United are a good team but we need to go there, stamp our authority and not hide from anything.

“We want to do it for the fans, they’ve supported us all season and they deserve more from us. If we can perform well in these final two games, I think it can give us all a lift heading into the summer and give us something to build from for next season.”
