Barcelona midfielder Gavi sends a very disappointing message to Chelsea after they declared interest in him.
The midfielder has broken into the Barca first team as a teenager, and even though they’re not in their best moment, they’re looking like they’re very much on the upswing, in a much better place than Chelsea, and even as a teenager Gavi is thriving and is already on the path to being a star.
The Chelsea links always seemed like an attempt from his camp to secure better wages, and a report from Sport basically confirms that today.
They write that the youngster has told his manager Xavi that he wants to continue as a key part of the project at the Nou Camp, and we can’t say we’re surprised. They have their salary cap issues of course, but they will make him a priority without doubt, and likely tie him down to a long deal soon.
