Another injury blow rocks Chelsea and could cost their their win against Leeds; Thiago Silva is out against Leeds.

Chelsea has in a statement confirmed that they received the news of Thiago Silva ligament injury and this will definitely keep him out of Leeds clash and probably for a full month.

This is a huge chance for the other central defenders to step up – We will likely see Wesley Fofana and Kalidou Koulibaly in the Champions League, with Benoit Badiashile looking to displace one of them for Premier League action.

As well as replacing Silva’s quality, we also desperately need someone to replace his leadership, and that may prove even more difficult in a squad which looks totally devoid of it right now.
