JUST IN: Frank Lampard set to drop £76m Chelsea star ahead of Real Madrid clash.
The new Chelsea interim coach Frank Lampard has been told to drop Kai Havertz and build a better dream Stamford Bridge squad ahead of Real Madrid UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday 12th April.
For some match days now, the £76m Chelsea star has been seen as a new flop in the club, and with the circumstances surrounding the blues, they are willing to do anything to better their squad.
Chelsea FC may not be among the list of England clubs to play in the next UEFA Champions League next season if they happen to lose to Real Madrid.
The German international recently cleared the air on his potential move from Stamford Bridge to Bavaria.
In an interview with Bild’s Podcast Phrasenmaher, he said:
“I still have a two-year contract, I don’t have to move every two or three years,”
“My girlfriend and I feel very comfortable in London. I love the club, the people, and the fans. At the moment we’re still in the Champions League. My goal is to reach the final again. Football is very fast-paced, you never know what will happen. We’ll see what happens in the summer. I’m not thinking about that.”
