What if he gets injured tomorrow? Caicedo agent blasts Brighton for blocking ‘Chelsea’ move. Now they have Enzo.
The agent of Moises Caicedo has hit out at Brighton for blocking him from leaving in January.
The Ecuador midfielder saw offers of £55m from Chelsea and £70m from Arsenal turned down in the final days of the winter market.
Caicedo penned a statement expressing his desire to leave the club, but failed in his efforts as Brighton rebuffedall approaches.
His agent, Manuel Sierra, has broken his silence on the situation.
Sierra told Marca90Ec: “The offers were received, you see what is on the table and Moises [Caicedo] says that he wants to go forward, that it is the dream of his whole life.
“That it is an opportunity that may not be repeated in life.
“And we helped draft the statement. In that statement, he expresses his wish and his gratitude to the club because they gave him the chance to fulfil his dream of playing in the Premier League.
“We don’t know what can happen tomorrow, maybe he trains and gets injured. We can’t know what’s going to happen.”
